I had a lovely stay at this country house hotel. the first room was small, but the second room was excellent. the breakfast and dinner were nearly very good, with only a few minor issues. the staff at the hotel were excellent and the dog facilities were top-notch. the grounds of the hotel were absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to explore.
It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning. Cons: No complaints.

Size of bedrooms, peaceful location, staff very friendly, .
Breakfast not included in price and was expensive, 20 minuite walk to town but road very dark and part of road had no path which made it quiet dangerous.bar drinks expensive but to be expected in a hotel. They also have some annexe rooms outside that are not the standard of a superior room but we were offered one as a superior room but complained and got moved to a superior room .

The location of the hotel was ideal, with a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. the rooms were spacious and offered lovely views of the surroundings. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. the breakfast had a wide variety of choices and the food in the restaurant was of high quality.
The state of the grout and finish in the shower was poor, which was disappointing considering the standard of the hotel.

The staff were charming and very welcoming. I am disabled and asked for a few extra items and these were provided immediately. The whole hotel was disable friendly, and to have wi-fi throughout the hotel, including guest rooms was a bonus.
Nothing at all.

Beautiful location, room opened onto garden and woods perfect for our dog. Food was excellent and staff helpful and friendly.
Nothing about the hotel - it would have been nice if breakfast could have been included in the price.

Spacious room with a large bathroom. Friendly and attentive staff. Good food and service at the restaurant. Key location near a National Trust Park. Well-maintained surroundings.
Room in need of renovation, with peeling wallpaper and faulty windows. Uncomfortable bed.

Relaxation, friendly atmosphere, sheer indulgence
The duvet was a little to thick for the time of the year (minor detail and not one which would deter me!!)

The hotel is set in a beautiful location and the dining room has a charming atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing good service. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, with delicious scones for afternoon tea. The room was comfortable and the bed was nice.
Some areas of the hotel, like the bathroom and certain rooms, appeared a bit worn and in need of updating.

stayed at a lovely hotel in Sheringham, but Dales Country House surpassed all expectations. Staff were accommodating, rooms were comfortable, and the food was delicious with a great selection. Really enjoyed the old-world charm and the beautiful surroundings for walks and bike rides.
Tap in the bathroom was frustrating.
